V60 Dripper – Manual Pour-Over Coffee Brewer

Introduction to the V60 Dripper

1. Product Description

The V60 Dripper is one of the world’s most popular manual coffee brewing devices, designed to produce a clean, balanced, and flavorful cup of coffee. Named after its 60-degree cone angle, the V60 has become the preferred brewing method for both professional baristas and home coffee enthusiasts.

The V60 gained worldwide recognition after the World Brewers Cup 2010 in London and is now considered one of the finest manual coffee brewing tools available.

Why is the V60 So Popular?

60° Cone Design

The cone-shaped dripper allows water to flow evenly through the coffee bed, maximizing extraction and highlighting the coffee’s natural sweetness and aroma.

Large Single Drain Hole

The large opening at the bottom gives brewers full control over extraction. By adjusting the pouring speed and technique, you can customize the strength and flavor of every cup.

Spiral Ribs

The spiral ridges inside the dripper prevent the paper filter from sticking to the walls. This creates space for carbon dioxide to escape during brewing and allows water to flow smoothly through the coffee grounds for a more even extraction.

Premium Ceramic Construction

The V60 is made from high-quality heat-resistant ceramic, which provides excellent heat retention for a stable brewing temperature throughout the extraction process.

Eco-Friendly Material

The ceramic body is durable, environmentally friendly, and built for long-term use.

2. Brewing Tips for the Best Results

Coffee Grind Size

Grind size and brewing time work together to determine extraction quality.

A medium-coarse grind is recommended for the V60. Coffee that is too coarse will brew too quickly and may taste weak, while coffee that is too fine can clog the filter and slow the flow of water.

Filter Paper

The V60 uses two types of cone-shaped filter paper:

  • White (Bleached) Filters
  • Brown (Unbleached) Filters

Bleached filters are purified during manufacturing, while unbleached filters retain their natural color. Rinsing either filter with hot water before brewing removes any paper taste and preheats the dripper.

Coffee-to-Water Ratio

A common brewing ratio is 1:15 (1 gram of coffee to 15 ml of water).

For a stronger cup, some brewers prefer a 1:10 ratio. Feel free to adjust the recipe according to your personal taste.

Water Temperature

The ideal brewing temperature is 90–96°C (194–205°F).

Maintaining this temperature range ensures balanced extraction while preserving the coffee’s delicate aromas.

Pouring Technique

Start by rinsing the paper filter with hot water.

Add the ground coffee and pour a small amount of water to fully saturate the grounds. Allow the coffee to bloom before continuing.

Pour the remaining water slowly in several stages using a circular motion. Controlled pouring improves extraction and creates a smoother, more balanced cup.

3. Why Choose the V60 Dripper?

The V60 Dripper combines elegant design with exceptional brewing performance. Its unique cone shape, spiral ribs, and precise flow control allow coffee lovers to unlock the full flavor potential of specialty coffee beans.

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced brewer, the V60 offers complete control over every brew, producing a clean, bright, and aromatic cup with every pour. It remains one of the most trusted and widely used manual coffee brewers in the world.
